Study-visit to Finland within the framework of the Project “Connecting Universities-Industry through Smart Entrepreneurial Cooperation and Competitive Intelligence of Students in Moldova, Georgia and Armenia”
On June 13-17, 2022, the teaching and administrative staff of both the Partner (Moldova, Armenia, Georgia) and Program Countries (Finland, Bulgaria, Romania, Latvia) took part in a study visit to LUT University from Finland within the framework of the Project „Connecting universities-industry through smart entrepreneurial cooperation and competitive intelligence of students in Moldova, Georgia and Armenia (CONNECT)”, co-funded by the EU under the Erasmus+ program.
During the entire study-visit, the participants got acquainted with:
- Presentation on “Entrepreneurship ecosystem in Lappeenranta”
- Presentation on “Business Mills”
- Presentation of Business Finland
- Presentation of LUT Junior University and a visit to Science Class
- Workshop “Creative Problem Solving”
- Workshop “Creating a website and mailing campaign with Mailchimp”
- Presentation of LUT Storming
- Finnish culture and language – Kieli Center
- Meeting with local start-ups
- Meeting with MEVEA & visit to lab with Horse Model

The meeting was arranged by the Host Partner: LUT University from Finland in close collaboration of the Coordinator of the consortium Mrs Elena SIMCIUC.
The program of the event was extensive and interesting, full of exchange of experience and knowledge that will be reflected in the report on findings as well as plans of collaboration between industry and academia.
